Maureen has been planning her wedding since she was a little girl, as her mom & sisters revealed in their toasts to the new Mr. & Mrs. Flynn.  With family and friends gathered round, the Flynns were married in the Richmond historical landmark, Monumental Church.  None of them from the Richmond area, the Southern art of storytelling was honored in the thoughtful speeches given by the couples’ dear friends and family.  Warm words and well-wishes were shared at the Main Street Station reception – the strong architectural lines softened with glowing colors, the textures of vintage books and sweet late-spring blooms of hydrangea and peony. Guests were treated to mason jars of sweet tea, bottles of local Legend brews, bubbly pink Italian sweet wine, and a decadent buffet of Southern favorites like shrimp & grits and bbq.  It was evident that Maureen put a great deal of thought and effort into the details of her & Scott’s special day.

It was so much fun to be a part of Maureen’s little-girl dreams becoming reality and meeting her & Scott’s family and friends.  Maureen, you are always so kind to me and treat me with such respect, I am grateful for our friendship. It was clear that these two are much loved, and very much in love!  Best wishes and congratulations, Scott & Maureen! I’m sorry for the overwhelming amount of photographs, but I couldn’t help it! <3
